tbf I don’t think he/she’s saying this is what they’re currently called, rather that if you were to really split the country up in the cultural/geographical areas, this is probably roughly where the borders should be and this is what we could call them lol

 

They got the geographic split of Michigan about damn right, though you might need little dot for Traverse City as that place is not the Northwoods nor the Great Lakes.
