But I do think the expectations for them from what we’re hearing out of the media prognosticator types is a little over the top is all I’m saying

 

I really just don't have any faith in the Clippers / Mavs / Grizzlies, I keep seeing them really high up on predictions and it doesn't make sense to me. The Thunder seem perfectly set up to have a surprise leap.

 

I did see someone earlier predict 50 wins for them and that seems way off. Mid 40s at best, 4 or 5 seed? idk

46 wins would have put them at the 4 seed last year

I can see a space for them in the 7-8 range potentially, I think Minnesota will be pretty good, Memphis is really talented even without Ja although losing Steve Adams is tough, same with the Clippers they won 44 last year with only 50 games each of Kawhi and PG. Plus the Thunder are just yoounnng, you just don't really see teams that young winning a ton of games. I am pretty skeptical of Chet's ability to stay on the court and while I think he's talented he's also yet to play a game so that's a giant question mark that I think a lot of people are disregarding. Same thing with that bench, it does not inspire a ton of confidence.
