I saw tickets go from $175 to $200 to being Premium and within seconds. Made me panic buy which is exactly what they want haha

  5. It’s all emotionally manipulative. All of it. I was trying to check how seats looked what other options I may have and then stuff was going away, then added seats and got a count down and ugh. I’m telling myself I can write this off :crylaugh: and just gonna leave it at that, but it doesn’t feel good. That’s for sure. Haha.

This is your life, are you who you want to be?

Man I was hoping these prices would be a bit less than the last tour. You guys all dropping $500+ for a date night??

  8. that’s the only thing I’m telling myself, they basically don’t play in Portland very frequently

I got floor seats 11 rows from the stage in July in Arizona. I won't be listening to the non Tom records though so hopefully they're light on that material.

  10. I'm giving you bad, bad news... They're only playing California and California Deluxe.

they play only one song from them now, Bored to Death, and even that might change if they add in more new stuff

Yep. I feel bad for people that go to arena shows often. I couldn’t do this process more than once a year. This is my first show at the Moda since Mumford and Sons in 2011 haha

I normally wouldn’t spend this much, but this is their first show with Tom here in forever, could be one of the last times they come here and it’s a comfy indoor venue that’s super convenient to get to. Can’t pass it up. That being said, I’m gonna feel dumb if prices fall towards show time haha

  13. Same, I told myself I'd do it for Jimmy/FOB because of how nice that package is and I haven't seen either of those bands in a very long time (or the Maine ever). And this is just like ... exactly what you said. First show with Tom in forever, dunno when they will ever come back or if they will, indoor, I can walk to it, and I will also be sad if prices drop. But, alas, it is what it is, I'm taking it on the chin ONE MORE TIME.

  14. blink will be playing in 2038 and I’ll be saying “who knows this might be the last time”

I don’t know if America is different but I paid like £380 for two tickets for Glasgow. When it was cancelled I decided to get that money refunded and the week of better seats and standing were available for £90 a pop. So now I have better seats for the new date and got a stack of money back due to the cancellation. Obviously a gamble but I’ve held out on FOB in Glasgow which were also mad money, gigs on Saturday and standing/better seats are now £90.

I want to say tickets to the Pop Disaster Tour in CT in the seating section was like $50 bucks or so. Inflation is a bitch.

We've gotta be on the verge of a pop-punk/90's Super Bowl Halftime Show sometime soon, right? Green Day x Blink x others

I want Green Day to open it with American Idiot. Straight into Holiday. Then they hit the final chord and it rings out.

Smoke pours in from the sides and out walks Mark and Tom. Travis flies in on a flying drum set. Tom hit an A chord and Mark follows suit and Travis goes Travis. It quiets down and then Mark begins Family Reunion. Tom AND Billie Joe join on the second verse til the end of the songs. Blink plays Turpentine. Both bands merge and play a mashup of When I Come Around and What’s My Age Again? (same chords, if you didn’t know). Everyone starts walking away and BJ remains with an acoustic guitar. Everyone thinks they know what’s next. That’s right, BJ plays the Ballad of Wilhelm Fink.

    That’s a wrap.

I can’t believe I went from feeling like they were gone forever with Mark getting sick, to him getting healthy, releasing an incredible new album with Tom, sounding the best they’ve sounded live possibly ever, and now getting to see them twice in 2 years.
