Craziest thing to me is that in 2017 their Citi Field show (40k capacity) was Blink, Linkin Park, Wu-Tang Clan and Machine Gun Kelly.

Now it's just Blink in 2023. Popularity has def grown in the last year+.

  4. This feels more apt to post in the general band thread:

    Ticket secured!
$257 after fees for GA B-):wine:

Stoked to walk 5 minutes to the venue and get there hours too early to ensure that I get as close to the front as possible, so I can finally see my favorite band up fucking close. And yes, I've already decided that I will be on Mark's side.

$257 doesn't even get you floor seating in NYC. That's like 2nd level prices.

yup, for just one. this will probably be the one and only time i splurge this much for a GA ticket to see them, but after being like 5 miles back in the 309,298th row at When We Were Young, this feels pretty great.

FUCKIN SAVAGES IN THAT FUCKIN BOX Prestigious

Still wild to me that I saw blink at the height of their popularity at the Worcester Palladium with Trio and Sum 41 for like 20 bucks

I'm thinking Scowl, Petey are opener material for most of the shows before Pierce the Veil.

I also think a Yellowcard or a New Found Glory could also be an option to open and help sell for the LA, NYC, San Diego, Boston dates.

I'm shocked reading these prices. I thought I had it bad paying £130 to get front pit for London

    Well,

I’ve been a fan of this band since I was 9 years old, my dad burned the cd for greatest hits for me and we would listen to it all the time on our drives and just when I was working on Lego sets or playing computer games. This was my first ever introduction to music and I was so blown away by how mark played bass and how intriguing each melody is.

Blink 182 was the first band I ever fell in love with.

They were an introduction to all of my favorite bands, they were my introduction to music in general. Without blink, I wouldn’t be here and my life would be completely different. I learned bass because of Mark, he was the closest thing to a real life superhero as a kid.

I’ve tried to see them multiple times, including this past tour, each time has fallen through and or something has come up. Most of the time they tour really far from St Louis or I just didn’t have the spare money at the time. However, now I can finally say, I have a pit ticket to finally see the band that changed my entire life.

Wasn't that bad for St. Louis either, 250 including fees for pit.

I had 1800, but it went pretty fast. Prices were going up in real time as I was deciding what I wanted. $480 later and I have two tickets towards the top of the 100 level. Most I’ve ever spent on a concert by far, but I can’t miss this.

Got floor seats in KC for $260 each after fees. Looks like there’s still a lot of decent seats left at somewhat reasonable prices.

Got 2 100 level tickets for $140 each. Expensive but not bad. My fiancée looked at the exact same section a minute after I bought them and they were $210 lol

I listen to nothing but the new album these past few days.

When we were young is so good.

Also such a funny move as a band to have a song called When I was young and another when we were young.

    Neighborhoods still isn't good.

With these prices, gonna have to pass. Especially since the Milwaukee show is during the week. Would rather spend my money to see sum 41 one more time and hopefully good charlotte if they tour.

  24. that's how i felt about it too. fortunately, it sounds like SLC's prices were better than yours? get Aaron to make Tom put you on the guest list haha.

  25. Haha, this is a moment where I miss when I really knew their management and had an in there. :crylaugh:

Yeah, dynamic pricing can eat it.
