    What is Duke doing?

Duke didn’t pass the ball once with over four minutes left in the game. I know the qb was hurt but still.

How does one of the best offenses in the country have SIX points AT HOME against 1-5 ASU?

Yeah, what a game. Really proud of that 2nd half domination. You notice how our defenders aren't looking around scratching their heads before the snap now that Golding is gone? And they swarm to the ball carrier and actually complete their tackles? This Steele defense is light years better than whatever the hell we've been doing the past 4 years or so.

Not sure if we've got the firepower to hang with LSU in a couple weeks, but I'm way happier with this team than I anticipated being after Texas and that South Florida catastrophe. Milroe isn't great, but he's good and I like rooting for him. Wish that o-line could play better for him the entire game though.

Kevin Steele defenses at Auburn were always masterclasses, even though Gus wasted all of them with whatever he was trying to do in the late 2010s. I didn’t want him as the HC back when the supposed Gus/Steele coup happened, but it’s still frustrating to watch him do well at Bama.

Definitely interesting to see that visual, but I think what doesn't get captured is the recruiting wins along with the overall perception of each program. The latter applies more to USC I suppose, but it's not like Jimbo is the hot seat.

Yeah, I thought about mentioning both of their large contracts, but both programs have the boosters and athletic department budget to move on from a coach if they really wanted to. I do think it absolutely is keeping the temperature down, but I don't see it preventing a move if that makes sense.

I just don't even know who the sure fire hire is that makes paying any buyout worth it these days.

It would be quite a jump but if I was a school down south-ish I'd be all over Jamey Chadwell.

God dammit, another 8pm start time for the next Buffs home game. I would love to go to a game where I can get home before midnight.
