It’s taken every ounce of strength not to listen to the leak. 6 more hours until I’m locked in my room listening to new Blink playing the new Mario game, and this time my mom won’t be there to yell at me to go to bed.

 

It's bad enough when people put EOTY lists out in November, but Spotify's just not counting listens for two months? Madness I tell you.

 

Damn.. now I can’t stop thinking how good that pink Mark variant would look in this sleeve..

 

I almost get it for December, as there could be some major tainting of Christmas music in my house. Now that you can “exclude” from stats impact etc. should you wish, it really doesn’t make much sense.

I reckon 10 days is plenty for me to get this album to its deserved spot.

 

Honestly, it's madness.

 

Not saying I ever believed it, but after hearing this album and watching that interview, this is 100% NOT their last album. It’s quite the opposite. We’re getting that blink 3.0 surge. I already want a new album!

Want to get excited but they have teased us with releasing songs only for them to never see the light of day (i.e. that collab EP).

 

My brothers, we JUST got 17 songs.

Review: Blink-182 – One More Time…

Was just looking over wikipedia for blink and I've mentioned this before, but it always blows my mind that the inception of the band through to untitled was a 10 year span. Absolutely wild to think about the drastic changes they faced throughout that timeline.

The break up was 4ish years long. Down the line, I'd be totally fine with them taking time off to avoid burn out. After a long tour/album cycle, they definitely deserve time off and this time around I think they aren't afraid to express themselves to each other and will work out personal timelines. That recent Zane interview truly put me at peace knowing that they are good for the long run.

 

Today i am a very vulnerable yet happy Bavarian boy.

I love this band so much.

Blink Wave is the best song.

 

When Nine came out I was not in the best place mentally. I enjoyed the album obviously, but I was not happy.

Fast forward to today, I'm 35 - Im in therapy, on the right medication, and I have a two month old baby who means the absolute world to me. There is a new Blink 182 album out and I AM HAPPY.

 

I love the super subtle WDNTW synths in the verses of Terrified and Marks backing vocals in the chorus are very Turnstile

 

When We Were Young is like the final form of what Tom was trying to do with his demo album.

 

After 4 listens, it's definitely awesome and often peak blink. No disrespect to the first half, but I find myself wanting to just listen from Blink Wave to Childhood over and over haha. Don't even mind Hurt which is 100% AVA. May as well be Atom drumming. Suppose I don't mind it cause it's short and I trust that Tom is all in on blink.

Nine was really pretty much what I wanted blink to sound like in 2019, and this is what I want blink to sound like in 2023. OMT would gets bonus points cause obviously these three when all in and right is that special thing about blink.

Precious little in the way of recycling himself from Tom outside of the Adam's Song bit in You Don't Know. Very fresh. I've settled on Turpentine as the best and won't change. It's as refreshing as the Untitled album was. And making those lyrics work deserves an award.

And not ranking the album yet, after only two days is insane lol. Top 5:
