Last night Green Day played an intimated show in Las Vegas. They announced they’ll be releasing their new single “The American Dream is Killing Me” on October 24th and heading out on your next year with the Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid, and Linda Lindas. A fan shot recording of the new song can be seen here.

Between the new Blink 182 album today and now hearing this new Green Day song I feel like I'm in middle school again lol it's overwhelming. I think I feel for Green Day the way a lot of people on this site feel about Blink (and I love Blink too just not the same) and anyway, this song sounds like it might be a banger! Tentatively excited.

    Aaaachem!

Throwing in some trilogy and FOAM and not pretending they don’t exist is an unexpected twist

I was obsessed with the bass line of this song as a kid. Still love it

I actually unexpectedly enjoyed Father Of All.. This song sounds okay, reminds me of Know Your Enemy.. Defo an ear worm, had it stuck in my head after hearing a short clip of the chorus on Instagram
