Was listening to Christina Aguilera on shuffle and her collab with Lady Gaga on Do What You Want came on and it reminded me of how the song was originally Gaga and R Kelly and how gross that was. They played up the controversy and scandal for the song/video and obv it was known he was a predator but she defended him when people criticized the song, and she talked about how people spread untrue rumors and blah blah. I'm not posting this for accountability as I do think she made things better by taking him off, adding Xtina instead, and supporting the victims and condemning her own actions so if anything it might be a positive example of how to take accountability. but I just totally forgot all about it until the song came on and then it all came back. He's been getting a pass for so long.

  16. Going to be interesting seeing who works with Kanye moving forward. Looks like he's got a joint release with Ty Dolla $ign coming next week. Rumored collabs/features include Playboi Carti, Metro Boomin, Freddie Gibbs, Quavo, Travis Scott, and Nicki Minaj.

Yeah all those people I detest especially Scott so it doesn’t surprise me they give no fucks. Nicki actually is ok but I always hear how her husband is an abuser(?). Also Freddy has been going downhill lately

Yeah, I wouldn't consider Nicki Minaj a beacon of morality to any degree personally.

  24. Kanye has fallen so far in many people's eyes he's essentially persona non grata and with good reason, keep that energy when it comes to who works with him in 2023. Maybe he'll get that woman beater fuck Marilyn Manson on there again.

NYT just put out an article on Adidas and Kanye.

“He later advised a Jewish Adidas manager to kiss a picture of Hitler every day, and he told a member of the company’s executive board that he had paid a seven-figure settlement to one of his own senior employees who accused him of repeatedly praising the architect of the Holocaust.”
