Discogs. RecordshopShibuya. Esentially it's HMV that still exists over there. I ordered Lisa Loeb there a few years ago and same thing, 2 days.

Be warned, its basically the UK recent represses with an OBI and a little booklet with the lyrics in English/Japanese. Also I got hit with $30 in duties. Which I wasn't surprised but *shurgs*

That's actually one of my white whales, so this is exciting! Plus, it means we'll probably get Deliverance sooner than later.

I bought a handful of Opeth albums off someone on reddit a couple of months back, so now after this repress I'll just be missing Deliverance and Heritage.

We reach for the longest shadow

Very nice. I haven’t decided if I want prog rock Opeth yet, and currently only have Blackwater Park and Ghost Reveries, but those are two of my favorite metal albums ever, and Ghost Reveries is a perfect album in my eyes.

That's the album that got me in to them, and I certainly can't argue with you there. Fantastic album! Even though their more recent works have been disappointing with the heavier side of things removed, they're still some really solid albums so I'll likely always get whatever they release.

Same. If I can wax poetic for a minute, around the time Coheed's Good Apollo came out, I first started learning about torrents and downloading leaked/new albums that way. I'm pretty sure that's how I found out about Opeth, when it was at the top of the list of torrents around the same time Good Apollo came out. I liked it well enough but it never really stuck for me until about... 5-6 years ago? Then I realized it really was something special.

Anyway, the live performances of the prog rock stuff sounds great, and I really do like In Cauda Venenum, but not sure if I like the rest enough to warrant having them on vinyl.

That run from Blackwater Park through Watershed is absolutely incredible. I was lucky enough to see them touring Ghist Reveries, and it was unforgettable. I've found stuff to love about the newer stuff, but it's not the same. That said, I'm still going to get most of them.

i knew someone in high school who was obsessed with Sara Bareilles to the point where they wore a fedora most days because she wore one on the album cover, haha. on a similar note, is it too much to ask for her to team up with someone like Mondo to get the Girls5eva songs on vinyl?

I already gave my wife a heads up that all of my vinyl preorders are being delivered this month. When she asked how many, I just said a lot (with emphasis on "lot"). I may have also continued to place orders for in stock items too. That'll be our little secret though. haha.

Since I love spending all of our collective money on vinyl, it is my sworn duty to let you know Urban Outfitters just added a ton of records to their clearance section: https://www.urbanoutfitters.com/vinyl-records-for-sale

<Those UO peeps upped their shipping costs by $1 tho, as a FYI>
