Unless they’re trying to show QBs whose receivers struggle to get separation, but I don’t think that graph is it

 

I think it's supposed to show decision-making aka "I'm not having to throw into tight windows as much because I see the open guy" but really it lacks the nuance of the other possibility which is "my WRs are shit and can't get separation" so it just kinda...is. I don't think it says much without actually knowing the context.

Like, I agree that Minshew, Jones, Garroppolo just aren’t seeing open guys. And I agree that Fields typically waits for a guy to be WIDE open to throw because he doesn’t have anticipation.

No, I’m adding context to why they would sign Julio. I mean, don’t get me wrong, those top three guys rule, but they are one injury away from a problem. They chose to go into the season with very questionable WR depth and they’re lucky that it’s Quez on IR and not Brown or Smith
