    RIP EmoPunkKid28: 2002-2016 Prestigious

I’ll say at least one band playing has seen the leak from a source that isn’t Reddit.

And they said their management learned it’s not set in stone

I guess the key is, no say anything? Of course bands drop but that's a rather larger one

    Things have changed.

Meh, no one should expect Max to show up to anything these days.

From the day the lineup dropped no one expected Say Anything to actually play

I'm not a say anything fan but I don't want bands like that to drop. More bands I don't wanna see...less conflicts for bands i do

Blink 182 going on after Green Day is laughable, even if they draw a bigger crowd.

how though? Green Day has literally been touring the same set/production for going on a decade. If you’ve seen them once, you’re all set.

At least Blink has new music that is doing well on streaming/radio and then genuinely seem excited to play it live. When GD release a record they add the first single to the set then usually ditch it after 6months.

Seems dumb to just not have them rotate closing over the 2 nights

    Things have changed.

They both go on stage together. Green Day can play a song, then blink can do a song. Then they alternate until the curfew.

Plot twist: Green Day will do a super long extended "King for a Day" to milk the clock at the end.

This is exactly the type of comment/attitude that I was talking about last night. People are legit upset over this, despite many reasons why blink would go on last. To call it 'laughable' is actually, in itself, 'laughable.'

  15. Huge bands should do battle sets like it's a basement screamo show in 2006.

Shut uppppppppp about the last part because they're definitely going to do that. Forever king for a day has been happening for decades and needs to end.

For real. Replace KFAD with a couple deep cuts and everyone wins

Also as a Green day fan I actually disagree about them being slam dunk closers for this show. I'm sorry, in 2023.... blink reunion with newer popular songs and honestly.more current relevance headlining isn't outrageous at all

Green day has been irrelevant for 7 years as far as I'm concerned

I'm in no way denying the popularity of Green Day, but it's weird that anyone thinks Blink 182 isn't the bigger band in 2023.

I'd go even further and say that Green Day was only ever bigger than Blink from 2004 to 2009. Not like one is MASSIVELY bigger than the other, though. They've always been almost neck and neck.

I'm talking mainly in terms of showmanship/performance. I haven't seen an act that wanted to follow GD before. Blink 182 will draw more people, as much as I loathe to admit, since there is generally more excitement about them at this moment vs GD but in terms of performance/spectacle, Blink pales in comparison.
