I never said anything about tweets? She could certainly give another statement to a journalist if she'd like. The fact of the matter is she went on record within a day of the PSL rally to condemn it. She won't do the same for this rally. I could give a shit about the circumstances of how she came to go on record, that's her responsibility.

But you seem to think she reached out to the journalist specifically to give that comment on the protests, and not the other way around. And on top of that you are demanding comment immediately saying she needs to reach out to other journalists about this video that you and I just saw at roughly the same time right now. Even though she hasn’t don’t anything of the sort about anything else related to this situation since the attack.

 

It’s hilarious you say that because you posted last night a post explaining that position and I almost replied today saying I agree with that reasoning, at least. I only didn’t because it was hours past and didn’t feel like starting anything at that point despite agreeing with it. Obviously I chimed in on the current stuff instead.

Think whatever you want. You apparently deeply care about a stupid ass thing I said months ago. Both people who have brought it up ignored the context of it, but what I said was still dumb (again, not defending it). So I don’t think it matters if we agree or not at this point. I could give a fuck about being right I care about the liberation of Palestine. It is not about being right (but tbh I know I am on the right side of history by unequivocally supporting Palestine, sorry) it just very much legitimately angers me to see a disproportionate amount of ink spilled over the actions of Hamas when compared to the shit Israel and the IDF have been doing for far longer to cause this entire conflict to play out as it did. YOU are the one who said I am glossing over civilian deaths and making excuses and now you’re playing victim because that assessment angered me despite my stance being pretty clear from the beginning, a stance you even claim to agree with.

 

I know it might be hard to understand it but some of us aren’t arguing on the internet over this because it’s fun and we just want to be right, as a matter of fact engaging in stuff like this is really bad for my mental health and I would much rather NOT be doing this with my time. However I very, very deeply care about this issue and believe it is extremely important to stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people.

 

You’re right. I’m not a victim. The slaughtered civilians are victims.

 

You asked for people to post about Palestine being free without a qualifier and I literally did that. You didn’t bother to acknowledge it. I don’t know what else you want people to say.
