It's mostly Ben Gvir's fault. Most of the forces that were supposed to guard the west bank were moved to the other side to guard his friends while they are provoking the Palestinians.

So what is Hamas' weapon inventory look like? Just wondering how many RPGs and anti-armor they have. That is going to be key to any defence of a ground invasion in an urban area

If Hamas is gonna win this one they gotta follow the Chechen plan from Battle Of Grozny 1994. Russians entered the city with columns of heavy armor, and they got completely smoked by hunter-killer RPG teams hidden in apartment high rises. Probably the absolute greatest victory of an irregular force over a modern technologically advanced military in a single battle in modern history.

  7. Great! Where's AOC's statement reflecting her principles you insist she has?

Prrtty sure AOCs first comments on the literal attack were just issued today almost 48 hours after it happened. I don’t think a video just now floating around on the internet in the last 2 hours is going to illicit a response immediately, do you? That being said, I’m pretty sure this would fall under the second part of her comment, no?

  13. “It should not be hard to shut down hatred and antisemitism where we see it. That is a core tenet of solidarity,” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said in a statement to Playbook late Monday — her first comments on the rally.

“The bigotry and callousness expressed in Times Square on Sunday were unacceptable and harmful in this devastating moment. It also did not speak for the thousands of New Yorkers who are capable of rejecting both Hamas’ horrifying attacks against innocent civilians as well as the grave injustices and violence Palestinians face under occupation,” she said.

She gave this statement for a story specifically about the PSL rally. Where's the one for this one?

it sounds like playbook reached out to her and asked for her thoughts/comments on it. Did they do so with this video?

  15. I guess she gets 24 hours like she did with the previous rally. Looking forward to her statement

  16. Doesn't matter

It doesn’t? You dont recognize the difference between putting out an official statement on your own vs. being quoted in a story that journalists contacted you for?

  19. I think a principled politician would address any hate rally in their city forthwith

  20. "Israel: where does the figure of “40 babies killed” and sometimes “decapitated” by Hamas in Kfar Aza come from?"

Really? Because I doubt we woulda gotten what we got in the playbook story from her without reporters explicitly asking her about it

  22. Yes really. In that case I suppose it was not due to her principles?

  23. When I'm doing something out of principle, it's usually only because a journalist asks me

She responded to questions posed to her by journalists in a manner aligning with her principles as far as I can tell.

otherwise the only other thing we’ve heard from her was a statement about the attack, condemning it, and then asking for immediate deescalation and cease fire. No tweets or retweets about anything to do with the protests or videos of folks holding up swastikas or whatever. Just this one comment to a journalist which literally says we need to remember the injustices Palestinians are dealing with.

Yet you want tweets about a video that just started circulating a few hours ago. You realize you sound nuts, right?

Like I’m kind of curious if you think you sound reasonable in your own head lol
