question for the thread:

how long does TJ Watt have to keep up his absolute DOMINANCE before we start to consider that he’s maybe even better than JJ Watt

 

Yeah, absolutely insane. If he's your best dude, play him. Its a lost season anyway.

I think 2-3 more years of this...and ideally another DPOY (or each of those seasons being a top 3 vote getter) and we can call it. Dont think he needs the longevity or overall sack numbers to beat out JJ. He's already been healthier and more consistent.

 

Idk if he’ll ever have a higher PEAK than JJ who was being doubled, tripled, held, and bootlegged away from on every play and still had two 20 sack seasons as an interior 3-4 DL

that’s harder to do than doing it from the edge where teams kinda can’t commit as much attention to you

but TJ just relentlessly continues to prove he is the best defensive player in the league with not nearly as many setbacks as his brother. Even when his production isn’t quite as high he’s making plays at key times and changing games by himself and that’s what is impressive. Ravens offense was sputtering, but those two Watt sacks on the Ravens last two drives are what really won the game

I love how camera angles are in the NFL. I was mad the Ravens were fucking up the game, but the minute I saw the camera pan to TJ Watt just fuckin roaring in triumph after that second sack, I couldn’t be mad. I was like damn, ballers gonna ball.
