Damn, this album kills. Just finished my first listen.

 

Yep I love this.

 

Their best album since Wolfgang.

After Midnight and Season 2 in particular are fantastic.

 

Such a delightful album.

 

haven't really liked anything from them outside of WPA, which is an all-timer for me, but i'm gonna give this one a try

Saw them on Saturday and they absolutely killed it, such an amazing set. Not sure if anyone saw them on their tour, but this was a festival show that ended the US tour, was way more into it than the last time I saw them (I think around Ti Amo...), I thought they were absolutely on their A-game and did it was fantastic.

They brought out Ezra for Tonight, then he stuck around and played 1901 with them which was really cool, he actually added a lot to the track just by playing guitar, and then he stayed in the band for their ending jam of Identical, which was like 5 minutes of pure instrumental jam bliss. Phoenix jamming out while Ezra played guitar with them was honestly amazing, it immediately made me want Phoenix and Ezra to create a jam band together and just noodle around all day.

Other highlight was If I Ever Feel Better / Funy Squaredance medley, they made those songs mash in the most perfect way, fantastic stuff

 

Phoenix actually won the Olympics

 

that was so sick lol

 

Listened to this the other day and other than a few songs, I think the only one that does it for me is Artefact. I'm probably in the minority that really liked Bankrupt and Te Amo but I haven't been hooked with the new one for some reason.
