I am really crossing my fingers that there’s no shitty side of Trevor Lawrence that’s about to come out. Cause everything you read about the dude tells you he’s got the right mindset and treats his teammates really well.

 

Yeah it’s not just “run more so you can pass easier”

you’ve got to be paying attention to what the defense is doing and calling whatever is gonna keep them on their heels. If they know exactly when you’re running the ball, and you’re not adjusting to the plays they’re calling in those moments to STOP the run… that defeats the whole purpose of trying to run to loosen up the defense. The point is to keep catching them off guard so they aren’t confident in any of their play calls.

It’s more about game flow and calling plays at the right time than just a random 50-50 distribution
