i was just thinking about this the other day, this delay seemed inevitable.

no tracklist, no follow-up single with a month out from release. i think they announced the album early to tie in with the tour announcement and couldn't catch up with themselves.

i almost wish i'd commented here when the thought crossed my mind - would feel very smug right now haha

 

Thought the exact same thing. Been periodically checking their IG and Twitter for any updates on the album and all I saw was tour posts. Didn’t know if it was intentional or not and they were just going to let the tracklist be a surprise since, I’m assuming, we have 4 songs from it already.

Glad the preorder ship date didn’t change. Jan 2024 always seemed crazy far out but it might be closer to when the album finally comes out.

 

I'm going to guess a November release, early December at a push. I'd be surprised if they don't release it before the tour... unless they eventually reschedule that too.

 

They had posted about the delay and then said they finalized the album art, but hasn't that been the same album art since they announced it..?

 

I thought that. Maybe it was initially a placeholder?

That'll be 5 singles released, so far (assuming everything released previously makes it on the album). Hopefully we also get a final tracklist Friday

 

I’m super disappointed with the rollout but the songs are so good, it’s easy to hold onto hope.

 

Yeah, the rollout has been pretty long but all the songs have been bangers so far.

 

Bring Papa the Roach with that don’t give a fuck if my heart stops beating delivery.

I don’t know how they write such good hooks, but holy shit they just keep coming.

God they are on fucking fire right now. I haven't been this excited about this band since the lead up to There Is a Hell

Honestly based on the songs released so far I'm pretty sure this will be their best record for me.

I still don't care that much for Die4U, mostly because of the chorus, but everything released after that has been good for me. Amen and Darkside especially, and Darkside gives me big Teardrops vibes which is one of my favorites from Survival Horror.

Jakarta show ended early because the crowd was moving so much that the venue was shaking and became structurally unsound. The footage of the show is incredible. The crowd is singing with so much passion they nearly drown out the venue audio
