Raiders would be my #1 guess if I were a hopeful person. But that also assumes McDaniels still has a job.

That was the one caveat that popped up in my head when I posted it lol

I’ve read or heard this a couple of times this year that the Raiders organization might not be able to afford to fire McDaniels after this year AND hire a new head coach because they wouldn’t have the money to allocate to two coaches like that

Idk how much truth there is to that, but I’ve definitely heard for a few years now that the Raiders organization is not bringing in much money, relatively speaking

this was the current draft order on the pff machine. i wasn't about to put THAT much effort into this

I've got the Falcons being the one to trade for Fields. I could see the Rams.

Holy shit, I forgot the Raiders are still paying Gruden after giving him a 10-year contract

I was about to say, didn’t think you had the Colts/Titans beating the Jags for the division lol. I don’t know anything about next years picks to know which is which lol

I recall hearing this as well but think they’re actually already paying two former coaches. I think the interim guy they had last year was still under contract as DC but since they didn’t hire him as coach let him go since McDaniels wanted a different DC so Rich is still getting paid for not being DC and Gruden still getting paid for not being HC

A 72% completion percentage on throws 10+ yards downfield is insane

I mean, the Davis family doesnt have some outside legacy business that made them rich and thus NFL owners...they have the Raiders franchise. So unlike the Broncos, who would be insane to eat Payton's $18mil/yr to fire him...but can cause they have that Walmart money...the Raiders only have the their NFL revenue. And they dont even own their stadium and if memory serves he had to finance a big chunk of his part of the stadium.

I think McDaniels' deal ends right when Grudens was supposed to...so around then is when they'll maybe get a new coach

I’m happy to admit I was wrong about Hutch and am very glad the Lions are smart and took him lol

Also it’s weird to watch a game knowing the result was never in doubt. I can’t remember the last time I’ve been genuinely excited about one of the teams in Detroit I root for. It’s wild.

I’m going to be heartbroken when Ben leaves after this season. I genuinely don’t know how we’ll proceed without him.
