NJ is great because it’s such a diverse state with a little bit of everything. We’ve got cities, suburbs, rural towns, beaches, mountains, forests, all packed into this little state. And great food (the best pizza for sure)

 

Jersey's most famous piece of entertainment is just some dude singing about how great it is. Maryland's most famous piece of entertainment is a series about how much it sucks.

 

I’ve really only driven through Maryland, but I know Jersey is by far more superior

 

I was born in NJ and then my parents promptly moved. (He graduated and moved for a job)

 

Using the Wire is stupid

That show is about police corruption everywhere. Thinking it’s just Baltimore is naive. Not to mention they intentionally filmed it in the worst neighborhoods. Worst neighborhoods of any city are like that

 

Don't recall seeing any shows about police corruption and systemic racism in Jersey

 

Okay Matt let’s just ignore systemic racism and police brutality nationwide like NJ just magically doesn’t have that

 

New Jersey like Maryland doesn’t have any real cities tho

As a person who was born and raised in Jersey I hate it.

 

Actually no there was one crime drama set in Jersey. Bergerac. Ran from 1981 to 1991.

 

Sometimes I think y'all's arguments can't get sillier and then y'all argue about shit like this

I don't know much about Trenton but to be fair Philly and NYC can smell as bad as any city

 

But at least they also have the benefits of being Philly and NYC lol.

I got into this fight with my cousins where they were trying to say NJ > Boston and they asked us what’s so good about Boston and we started listing off a bunch of stuff. We asked them what’s so good about NJ and they told us “New York City, Duh”

 

People have really lost the plot on RBs. It went from “this is a position that doesn’t age well and probably shouldn’t receive your most significant resources” to “how dare you pay them $25/game for two years!”

 

Pay cool RBs like Dame Pierce

 

Trenton doesn't even smell tbh lol the areas along the turnpike in North Jersey near the meadowlands are much worse
