Would certainly be nice to have political leaders that would stand up and condemn violence on all sides in the middle east

Like it seems rather clear to me that both Hamas and the Israeli government *want* conflict and bloodshed. The more everyone turns against Palestine and the more acts of violence are committed against Palestine, the more Hamas becomes to only actual option for the Palestinian people. And Israel clearly doesn't want the oppression of Palestine to end because that means less power for them. Attacks like this help both Hamas and the Israeli government.

But instead of calling out the problem for what it really is, we just feed right into the narrative. And so ultimately side with not just the Israeli government but Hamas as well.

When you continue to denigrate and murder people while forcing them into what is essential an open air prison, what do you think the outcome was going to be?

I don’t think it’s for me to condemn extreme responses to extreme oppression. I don’t want those extreme responses either but I’m not going to act like Israel is a victim here.

Are you talking about the government or the people in the nation?

Government can absolutely get fucked. But Israeli people are still victims in this too.

The government and the people that support and benefit from the government’s continued occupation

apparently somehow its Biden's fault because Iran got their 6 billion and I guess somehow Iran was able to use that 6 billion to pull off the attacks in like two weeks time

also apparently there was no conflict in the middle east while Trump was president

    This is correct.

It's time that people learn to separate the common folk from their government. Imagine if 4 years ago you would take a trip to another country and everyone you spoke to over there would think that you are a stupid bigot because trump was your president.

eh if they want to think I'm a stupid bigot that is fine. I don't think that's really comparable to what's happening here.

People are losing their lives. Some of those people have actively harmed others in irrepable ways and are being killed in retaliation. Its hard to generate much sympathy for those folks. But a lot of people are simply getting caught in the cross fire. And I will still have sympathy for those people

I see what you are saying. Most of these people were just born into it, they didn't ask for any of this and they don't deserve it.

  15. When one condemns Palestinian tactics one should consider whether you would condemn the same by those trapped in the Warsaw Ghetto or in a slave revolt etc

I just want those same people to publicly ask to consider the lives of Palestinians when they are victims of the Israeli tactics. Of course I would expect to hear from them everyday

Even today the casualties are lopsided where magnitudes more Palestinians are losing their lives, but we’re only asked to consider the Israeli lives lost or to at least consider it balanced when once again it’s not

Also gives the Israeli government a “reason” to ignore the protest from their own citizens.

its a settler state. Israelis are settlers. Israeli settlers overwhelmingly support their “only democracy in the Middle East.” They are culpable.
