Maybe it's just me generally not caring about the Big Ten, but this list feels random as hell:

    "The guaranteed annual protected matchups are Illinois-Northwestern, Illinois-Purdue, Indiana-Purdue, Iowa-Minnesota, Iowa-Nebraska, Iowa-Wisconsin, Maryland-Rutgers, Michigan-Michigan State, Michigan-Ohio State, Minnesota-Wisconsin, Oregon-Washington and UCLA-USC."

georgia tech's "permanent rivals" are clemson, which is a holdover from the old division days, wake, and louisville. duke is their third longest played series and not included lol.

I really want to see the full SEC permanent rivals list that got Saban in such an uproar he changed his mind on supporting 9 game in conference. I know the rumor/leak for Bama was Auburn, LSU, and Tennessee, but I'm curious about everyone else.

Almost all of that makes complete sense other than Iowa three times. The rest are all neighbors

I’m surprised they left it at 11 am for tomorrow since it’s a battle of top 15 teams.

Big games can certainly still feel big at 11 am but idk I just feel like that’s hard to do and rate to really pull off. And isn’t this like the last game in the rivalry for awhile since Texas is going to the SEC? Shocked this isn’t the main Saturday night game based on that alone.

Both teams are going to the SEC and will still play every year. The game has always been in the morning slate for as long as I can remember.

From a “control how drunk the fans are” standpoint, huge games should absolutely be played at noon/3:30.

From a “fuck it we ball” standpoint, every game should kick off at night under the lights. Nothing like a night game in college football.
