We (Halogens) have been struggling with an RIYL for the new EP that's coming out in a few weeks, if anyone wants to listen to the new single & give their feedback we'd love to know what you think

We used to go with Tigers Jaw / The Front Bottoms / Pinegrove / Sorority Noise but some of those are... outdated haha. I personally feel the new stuff is lyrically more similar to Free Throw/ Spanish Love Songs & sonically like Paramore (After Laughter) / The Weakerthans / Transit / Somos

The new Magnolia Park EP has some bangers! One of the best newer pop punk bands

 

The new FIDLAR single is my favorite song that they’ve put out in a while. The new Cancer Bats single is good, as always. I’ll check out the anniversary edition of Permission to Land. I’m most excited for Slow Pulp today; can’t wait to dig into that album.
