I went from 9th place after Week 2 to 3rd place after Week 4 - despite (as usual) having the most points scored against me through four weeks.

 

It's all a crapshoot. I'm somehow 4-0 in one league despite only being 7th in PF, but I'm 1st in PA lol

 

0-4 in a league that has punishment for last place. not feeling great.

indeed. i'm such a fantasy football loser. i've been in this league for 8 years and have been the sacko loser 4 times.

 

Trade question. I've been starting Kirk Cousins so far this season. Pretty good outside of this past week, but I'd like a little more assurance at QB. My friend is considering offering me Richardson and Ridley for Geno Smith (my current backup) and Puka. With Kupp possibly returning soon, I'm not sure if now is the time to sell high on Puka. Thoughts?

 

I would definitely make that trade. I think ARich has top 5 QB upside.

In a full PPR dynasty league and I'm not a contender this year at all. I'm really struggling with the idea of getting rid of Kamara this year though.. I think he's going to continue to be a PPR machine, so I'll have to let him go and see him continually get pretty good numbers. He's getting older though, so I know I have to dish him out sooner rather than later.

The main reservation I have is that this league has the ridiculous rule where (to allegedly combat tanking) the lower you finish doesn't dictate your draft pick.. you have to magically get good at the end of the season and win a losers playoff bracket and finish 6th in the league (out of 12 total team) to get the 1st round draft pick.

 

Just got offered an interesting trade in my 16 teamer... .5 PPR, we start 2 WR and a Flex

I give: Gabe Davis
I get: Cam Akers

I'm 3-1, but somewhat lucky there. Chubb getting hurt sucked for this team. My RBs are now Miles Sanders, Jerome Ford, and Zeke Elliot. I'm strong(er) at WR with DK, Aiyuk, Tank Dell, and Gabe.

Short term, this trade doesn't really solve my problem for Week 5 of having to start Zeke with Ford on bye, because DK is also on bye. So I'd basically be trading a Zeke/Davis lineup for a Zeke/Akers lineup this week. I'd also have similar issues when other guys are on bye where there'd just be no way getting around starting Zeke.

Flip side is, I'd still have 3 strong WRs on the weeks those guys don't have byes, and Akers could develop a real good role in Minny and maybe give me a legit #2 RB to rotate with Ford and Miles based on matchups (or flex if one of my WRs falters). Not sure what to do here

 

Bleh someone finally responded and I traded Puka for Pollard. Wasn’t my first choice to acquire him but I needed a RB and I’m plenty stacked at WR. Hoping Kupp eats into his share big time so it doesn’t look like a terrible trade in hindsight lol

 

dobbs made it through waivers this morning so i grabbed him and am also #2 priority now.

THere was a brief time period after the 9:30 game and early into the 1 PM games this past sunday where one of my NFFC teams was the #1 team in the bestball. 1st place overall gets $30K. I'm back down to 17th after all the games finished monday night but still. I'm in contention a quarter of the way through the season.

This is the best ball team that lost Nick Chubb too. Damn.

I am also forced to start Rashee Rice this week

 

I like Rice for non-fantasy purposes but wouldn't want to start him or almost any kc skill position player

 

any thoughts anyone?
