Goddamn i am in my yearly blink rabbit hole again. I love this band so much. The final seconds of feeling this are so fucking good

 

I’ll say that I’ve listened to California Deluxe more than Neighborhoods, DED and self-titled combined.

I have a really weird relationship with self-titled.

I remember loving the hell out of Box Car Racer when it came out. But when blink was coming back, I was ready for a blink record with a good amount of Mark. I had heard a lot of Tom by then. It was time. That didn’t happen. It actually took me a year to get through self titled because it just left a bad taste in my mouth.

When the whole break up happened, it justified my feelings a bit. Even more so when Neighborhoods and DED came out.
Anyway, I still have problems listening to self titled. I know it’s weird to take it so personally but that’s just the way it is.

 

No clue if there’s bad blood. Feldy never commented on BIOMY or Happy Days when they were released (because he wasn’t the producer for those songs) so it makes sense why he wouldn’t comment on their new stuff.
