Met someone on AP and he ended up performing my wedding service. Only once has it been awkward but it was the other person saying hi and basically running off lol

 

I have met several people from ap and have had nothing but great experiences. I consider some of them my best friends in the entire world now. Plus I'm in a long term relationship with someone I met from ap

 

Wish I didn't live in the middle of nowhere, haha. Would love to meet some Chorus-ers.

 

I've only met @sophos34 on here but I stayed an entire week at his house which is equal to probably meeting 50 of you idk

I'm always down to meet people but yea I get that it could be awkward. but I mean some of us have communicated a ton with each other so it would be kind of cool to meet them in real life. I think if more people in the community met up in real life there may be more respect amoungst each other since we won't just be a name on a forum to one another anymore haha. Not that we are hostile now but I see it at times

 

I actually hate @Deathco_019 now that I've seen his beard in person bc it's nicer than mine

 

It's funny this is coming up in conversation, because I so badly want to connect on a deeper, more genuine level with a lot of the users on this site, but I consider myself extremely socially awkward and have a history of struggling to connect with others. I just love that a good portion of the users on this site interact both in and out of the forums, and have a relationship that goes deeper than just the threads we communicate in. There are some users I've interacted with enough that I'd feel comfortable calling acquaintances, but in the future, I'd love to foster some actual friendships. I don't know if that sounds odd, just putting it out there like that, but it's something I've thought about a lot.
