Well yeah this, but also a lot of the moves Ukraine had been making lately seemed to point towards the strategy of wearing down the forces Russia currently has in the country, as if they have been possibly banking on the idea that another round of conscription in Russia would be too unpopular for Putin to even attempt, which I do not think is the case at all. I think all signs point towards Russia being actually and fully committed to this war for the long haul. Much more committed than the United States for one, and also more than most of Ukraine's more powerful allies, with the exception of probably the UK, although Macron seems to be moving towards more fully supporting Ukraine as the war drags on and not away from it.

 

This bald guy seems pretty serious about sprinkling a bunch of nukes across various European countries.

I do not see the logic that preemptive nuclear strikes on multiple European cities would demonstrate to everyone that NATO is the true aggressor and Russia is the victim.
