That's exactly what the goal posts are. The idea that you HAVE to pay your QB top money no matter what.

For me the line really is simple. If they're good enough to re-sign they're prob resetting the market. If they're not good enough to reset the market, they're not worth re-signing.

I would not have given Daniel Dimesworth a multi-year deal. I would give Trevor Lawrence one that resets the market. It's not that complicated lol
