Just heard this and does this remind anyone else of The 1975's own UK Garage / 2 step material? Especially when the chorus with those pitched up vocals pops up. Between this and "Rush", I'm so excited to hear the album

I have to say I was a hater of the sample but it's grown on me immensely bc I love the rest of the song in general

interesting to see the extended mix of Rush here. i wonder if the shorter version will stay track 1 on digital or if they'll replace it.

 

I can't explain how happy I am that the extended is the album version, as it should be

 

Also, the extended is the only place he actually sings the album title, so...

 

Good first listen but I think I over hyped myself a bit haha.

 

Reba is a delight

 

I wanted to like this so badly but it’s very much not for me. Still think he’s one of the more exciting artists we have in pop music though. Hopefully whatever he does next clicks for me

 

I feel like this is a grower and not a shower, at least so far. Rush (Extended) and Got Me Started obviously are great, and I think both "What's The Time Where Are You?" and "Honey" are of that caliber as well. "One Of Your Girls" is funky and hard to grab onto but I really like what it is, it's different. "Still Got It" "Can't Go Back Baby" "Silly" and "How To Stay With You" are all good, but I can tell there are nuances that I'm catching each time and they are growing on me. Not really into "In My Room" at all though

 

This is great! It was never going to be ten straight bangers. Not sure how anyone who likes the 1975 don’t love the closer… that sax
