Great end to a fantastic show. AEW absolutely overdelivered.

I'm so fucking happy holy shit I actually jumped up from my couch clapping and squealing. As soon as I saw Feature Presentation I put together Rated R and knew it. Plus it looked like him getting in the car.

Holy fuck that was incredible

 

Besides it going a little long for me personally, this was another fantastic show by AEW! I don't think there was a bad match on the show. Some that could've been done on weekly shows (Ricky/Yuta for instance), but all enjoyable matches on their own level. Fun as hell finish too of course.

 

WWE owning 'Edge' but not 'Rated R Superstar' is kinda fucking funny

Happy for Edge. His WWE return has been botched a ton and I think he still has more he can give in the ring. Feuding with Christian when he is red hot as a heel is a perfect legends feud for AEW. It’s a nice response to losing Jade and exactly the kind of momentum they need. Nick Wayne as Christians protege is a far better role for him than a young white meat babyface. I’m excited to see where this angle goes! That can be said for just about every angle that continued tonight.

If anything, that's a WWE move. Haha.

 

TNT Title run for Edge in the next few months might help dynamite/collision out a lot. Then use it to have him face a bunch of guys he's never wrestled.

I don't think he has a ton left in his tank but maybe not feuding with Judgement Day on a tv show for 9 months straight will do him wonders

 

Copeland does sound pretty sick. One of the best bands of all time.

 

Oh for sure. I just mean in the sense of feuds worthy of a PPV, that would fit better on weekly TV. But you're right, it served its purpose.

 

I think if they had done what they wanted (which was a Cole/MJF v The Kingdom tag match, and Mox v Lawlor), it'd have been a perfect PPV. No Wheeler/Ricky, prob 5mins less each in the 4-way tag and tag title matches. And a hotter opener with Cole/MJF, though MJF is so damn over it didnt matter.
