Haven't checked on Sixers twitter yet, but I assume today is going really well.

  5. We all got excited when Boston added Brogdon and it was just kinda whatever. Not falling for it again. I’m a timelord fan but he isn’t reliable at all. The GSW pick will be in the 20s. So they just have to hope one of the 2029 firsts they got turn out good. Both could go either way.

It could be worse for sure. But I feel like this deal brings back lesser players for mediocre picks and now you have to try and trade those lesser players for more picks. And if all Jrue got you was a GSW pick and a pick 6 years away, Brogdon isn’t getting you much.

  7. The Ayton pickup is nice. He still has a high ceiling. And maybe he reaches that in a new environment with some other young talent. But I think they could’ve done something around Nurkic and Ayton in any Dame deal or independent of a Dame deal. So they were patient and got a decent return for Dame, I still don’t love it.

Brogdon to the Clippers for expiring deals (RoCo and Batum match up exactly with salary) makes sense to me. Low risk for LA and they don't have to deal with Harden. Blazers get rid of Brogdon's contract for the next two years.

Very happy with the Blazers front office for once. They were patient and got the best deal possible. Simons, Sharpe, Scoot, Grant, Ayton and Williams might actually be fun to watch. Their frontline is an absolute major upgrade and we got the picks for the future to help continue the rebuild.

  10. Even if some of the picks the Blazers got don't end up favorably, they can always trade them. Teams are always wanting to get into the late first or move back etc. They could bundle the extra picks with their own if they love someone at some point.

Having a ton of picks is never a bad thing. Look at OKC

Seems pretty reasonable, if true. Think he's been wrong about pretty much everything lately, though.
