Club sold its soul for third place and a caramel cup.

in other news, my current fm game is cursed. despite buying two right backs in August and Jan and having 4 on the books I haven’t had a single one available for longer than a week all season. I have no wingers. Shaw asked to leave. Case, Rashford, Sancho, Bruno, Mount, Lindelof, and Varane are all long term injured. Bottled an 11 point lead over Arsenal and I’m now a point behind with 3 games left. Got bounced out of the CL by Bayern with a last minute goal. Basically fm woke up and said fuck me.

If it helps, Arsenal are fucked too.

We have Saka, Martinelli, Trossard, Rice, Partey, Viera, Timber, and now apparently Saliba out injured.

That’s 6 starters and two direct backups for some of those players lol. Absolutely fucked.

Even then that is giant fucking increase YOY, I swear I want nothing to do with Detroit getting an MLS team. I don't need another corporate, expensive ass "professional" team in Detroit. DCFC's whole experience down to ticket prices, food prices, and beer prices is such a wonderful change of pace from the above.

John Brooks should get the assist on that Dortmund goal. That was bad.

what I hope to see tomorrow from Liverpool
    • dont concede first or at least not for the first 20-25 minutes
    • score 4 goals instead of 3

Never tried either haha. How would you describe their tastes? Is it like Bovril?

today's immaculate footy has me sitting at 7/7 with 2 guesses and exactly zero thoughts in my head for the remaining two.

lmao a Sergio Ramos own goal gives Barca the lead vs Sevilla. Amazing.

It’s in the same ballpark for sure. Bovril has a more meaty taste, as it comes from beef instead of yeast.

I love marmite, I have it like twice a week lol. But the trick is to use tons of butter and a very sparing amount of marmite as opposed to covering or blobbing it on.

(is this the most British comment in this thread ever?)

He was absent from all training pictures and footage, but in the presser, Arteta named players who hadn’t trained and he wasn’t one of them. I suspect he is on the bench in case of emergency.

I had a “oh duh” moment for Everton/Spain and ended up getting 8/8, then felt like a moron for missing Inter/City.

Portugal is going to have such a fun title race this year. Sporting are currently the last remaining unbeaten team, and will likely be top by the end of the weekend, but Benfica and Porto both look good and the top three is separated by just two points.
