I can’t wait until there’s a new Green Day record so I never have to think about FOAM again.

It’s true. After Revolution Radio, I don’t think I ever mentioned the trilogy unless I was asked about it lol

This Dookie deluxe edition is really fun.

 

Man I was really excited when I saw how active this thread was today but it did not live up to my hype lol

Although I'm clearly extremely behind on the GD rumblings if Jason is in here implying that he's heard new music and that it's coming really soon...

 

Also FOAM is their worst album probably but trilogy is good

 

I can’t find my Insomniac CD. The case is right there on the shelve, but it is empty. I have no idea how that is possible and it pisses me off. That’s all I have to say.

 

Yeah I’m gonna spin the remaster on my lunch today. Really looking forward to it. I’ve been obsessively been listening to the Dookie Christie Rd. for the past couple weeks

 

Was it remastered specifically for this release? Can't find any info about it getting a remaster treatment for the 30th anniversary. It would make sense that it was...just curious.

 

They don't mention it being remastered in the press release:

Loaded to the brim with collector’s items, the vinyl box set boasts a roll of Dookie dog poop bags, five-button set, air freshener, postcard, bumper sticker, kiss-cut large magnet sheet, paper airplane, a black-and-white “Coloring Page” cover litho insert, and a poster of the alternate cover art. The CD box set consists of two stickers, the five-button set, air freshener, and single soft vinyl magnet. Both box set versions feature a heartfelt personal intro penned by GRAMMY® Award-winning producer Rob Cavallo and extensive liner notes from GRAMMY® Award winner Bob Mehr.

Dookie’s influence remains downright inescapable. Maybe it was remastered sometime in the last few years and didn't need another for this release.

Listening to Dookie front-to-back for the first time in years, I can say for sure that Burnout is a GOATed album opener
