If you're ever in NE, I got you! We have donated tickets all the time and usually I DJ or work the door for our events!

With you in Cincy, you have some great parties like the Hard Candy shows! When in Lousiana Purchase was in town, she was talking about them.

Still holding firm. It's wild to see it sitting higher than The Creator. Clearly review counts are wildly unbalanced but still not something I expected to see today.

Also keep in mind it's incredibly easy to game RT

  4. Don't take this away from us, @Shakriel

Tell that to the other nine Saw films lol

Well of course, but I think every other Saw was wildly low so even seeing a formed tomato next to it from the jump is unexpected.

What's everyone's favorite paranormal horror movie? I haven't seen a good one in a while.

    Some I've seen are

    The Conjuring
    Exorcism of Emily Rose
    Poltergeist
    Insidious 1 and 2
    Anabelle
    Paranormal Activity
The VVitch (idk if that's really "paranormal" but whatever)
    Babadook

Only a few of them were good though haha.

Dunno if Lights Out is any good?

  7. I'm not sure what you mean by that. Does Talk To Me count?

Anything involving demons, possessions, hauntings, witchcraft, etc.

Yeah id say that one counts just from reading the description of it!

I'd say my 2 favorites in that category are It Follows and The Blair Witch Project

I guess it depends on how you define scary but Hereditary did a number on me and I consider myself to be pretty desensitized to most things.

  14. Lights Out is abysmal and Hereditary is definitely scary!!

Would you say Hereditary is scarier than Midsommar? I wasn't a fan of that one tbh I just noticed it's the same director. Also thought The VVitch kinda sucked

Hereditary traumatized my girlfriend and I. We didn't watch Midsommar for years because of it, but when we finally did recently it was like nothing.

What does everyone find scarier, supernatural/paranormal stuff or slasher/human killer stuff? I feel like most people say the latter, which I understand because it’s more realistic and can actually happen, but it’s always the supernatural stuff for me. Just the fact that if you ever see something like that it would shatter your reality and change your whole worldview is terrifying. I’d punch a Michael Myers.

I tend to gravitate toward the latter but enjoy both

  23. In general, I find supernatural/paranormal stuff scarier. With slashers, I can usually convince myself or believe that I'd be smarter than the people getting killed on screen and just run away or make better decisions. There's a bigger sense of despair and helplessness when facing off against the supernatural. Obviously, this varies from movie to movie and execution, etc.

Supernatural/paranormal stuff for me. Especially the ones you can’t see. The feeling of being watched by something I can’t see scares me the most
