when the fuck did that happen lmao

  2. It’s easy to forget. It was a long time ago. And people instantly forgot it happened because Dame started begging Pat Riley to take him and Harden went to war with Morey

  3. Shortly after FA opened and Indiana slapped a 2 year 45 million dollar deal in front of him. Rumor is he blacked out and signed it in his sleep

I would be very happy if Jrue wanted to come to the Celtics. That would be cool.

i agree. it is two guys. not one. like heat fans would have you believe. both sides were dumb about it equally.

I mean part of why the Bucks got rid of Jrue is because he couldn't shoot in the playoffs and screwed their spacing, hoping the offense with Dame is much more open is the whole deal despite the obvious defensive downgrade.

Jrue fits better on a few playoff teams, but only if they have enough spacing. Golden State is actually a really good fit if they only give up Paul, but they'd have to at least include Moody or a good pick to make it work for Portland.

I definitely think Miami could have made a better offer, sounds like Riley bet on Dame telling other teams off and keeping his offer as low as possible and it backfired.

That's the kind of posturing that could piss off Portland enough to not even give them a chance to up their offer when the Bucks trade came together and Dame was fine playing there.

  14. And to add, I think the media still played a negative role in the whole thing for Miami. I don’t think it was strictly a vendetta against Miami, although I feel like most other teams don’t like them, but more so getting bad vibes from how Dame’s camp was so adamant about going to only Miami. It’s weird that this was the deal that sparked this kind of backlash because we’ve seen it plenty of other times in this league. But I do believe the backlash and uproar about Miami’s offer and Dame’s demands played a role in Portland being so stubborn toward Miami.
