I really love this and it’s from Nicotero, but for that price

Starting Out of the Dark since it leaves Tubi soon. I was not expecting Divine’s name listed in the intro.

I just watched the Babadook and thought it was pretty dumb. What an underwhelming ending

    I didn’t like it either

  7. Been a while since I've seen it, but I really like The Babadook. Also, it's the reason for one of my favorite tweets of all time.

  8. Babadook scared the shit out of me

Action horror + Samara Weaving? Say no more, I'm in

It just felt like I kept waiting for something to happen, and then all of a sudden it just abruptly ends out of nowhere. I was left very confused and asking my fiance "is it really over?"

I get that it's supposed to be a metaphor for grief and depression, but that doesn't make for a scary movie to me. Also thought the whole feeding it worms thing was weird haha

I just wish the movie had the courage to actually play out the way the picture book did, rather than a happy ending. Or at the very least, let the kid live but give the mother a tragic ending

  10. The Babadook is good! It's definitely slow, but it's a good film.

I'm enjoying No One Will Save You, but I wish the no dialogue thing didn't feel so gimmicky.

    hate my favorite band

I’ll confess, I’m a babadook hater. I’ve only seen it once though and it’s been years, so maybe I’ll come around on it if I rewatch.

edit: if it’s good enough for Tara Carpenter then I guess it should be good enough for me

  13. I once again need to finish No One Will Save You because I fell asleep on the couch lmao it's been a busy month.

Gonna finish it tonight and try to start FFC's Dracula for With Gourley and Rust if I can make it

I hated The Babadook when I first saw it but after absolutely loving The Nightingale I wanted to give it another shot and was definitely getting more out of it on a second watch but something came up and I never finished it.

I really wanna go see Saw X this weekend, but my wife and I have an event at our local bar with Victoria Elizabeth Black aka winner of Dragula Titans which you can watch on Shudder. The new season drops late October!!!

Victoria is cool because she also does special effects for horror films!

Same! She’s so detail oriented and seems like she has a great personality. It’s the first winner we’ve had so far!
