Neither song is worth defending in this match up. Whatever. They're fine.

    Things have changed.

Why does everything have to be a ranking? Just enjoy some stuff independently of other stuff.

With how loved BCR is in here I'm just surprised that Up All Night isn't loved more. To me it's the perfect combo of BCR and Untitled blink

  7. I can understand why though. I like it but I can definitely remember a "this is it?" feeling quickly sinking in at the time. Something about the production or the vocal performance (the chorus isn't particularly memorable for example), I'm not sure, but it doesn't really hit like it should have for a comeback single. Like it is at 75% instead of 100 or 110% energy wise. Love the main riff but the rest sounds a bit flat to my ears.

In comparison, More Than You Know sounds so much more lively and, especially, urgent.

  9. In terms of re-introductory tracks, they’re definitely songs worthy of comparing. I’m sure this record will kick the snot out of Neighborhoods, but Edging didn’t get me anywhere near as excited as Up All Night did. That was really a great “we’re back” song

The chorus of Up All Night just drags so bad. It stinks live

The good Untitled era riff is the only good thing about it

  13. I don't mind "Up All Night" but the "false ending" part kinda bugs me. I think the fade out should have gone a little longer before it comes back in with the big heavy part again. The way it is now, the fade out is so rushed and unnatural sounding, so it makes that ending part a little less impactful to me.

Up All Night is one of a small handful of songs on Neighborhoods I actually like.

Edging grew on me alot I feel like that was a great choice for a reunion announcement bc they definitely wanted radio play and that song definitely kept them on the charts for a while so it did work. Prolly be the weakest on album though I feel best is yet to come
