Y'know, reading through the last couple pages of this thread....I don't think I like it here very much anymore.

We should have a betting pool on how many “she said” the album will have

 

I want to believe they’re aware of the tropes and avoiding them, but they’re newest single already referenced I Miss You and from the announcement trailer clips we know they reused the Adams Song riff AGAIN. So I’m sure there will be at least 1 “she said”, some na nas, and Tom saying an age he was

 

But how many pick slides/scrapes will this have is the real question

 

on the album recording? a handful, for sure. during the live performances of those songs? at least 20 pickslides per song

 

I agree with you, the Untitled album is the best example of blinks wide range. While American Idiot or 21CB explore the limits of rock and punk-rock, I don't find as much diversity as in blink catalogue. Not even talking about side projects like Simple Creatures, +44, Transplants, AVA or Boxcar where they go full experimental in a lot of genres.

 

I've listened to OMT and MTYK practically on repeated each day now since their release... I just hope in doing this I haven't tainted my full album listen

OMT music video is up to 5.8m views on YouTube and still #2 trending on music. Pretty good going!

 

I think I’ve only listened to each of the new songs five times. Trying not to overdo it.

I was watching stuff on Peacock last night and on two commercial breaks they played an ad for One More Time.

Columbia is absolutely gunning for this album to hit #1.
