Who has more trade value - OG (1 year + PO) or Barnes (1 year +TO + QO)?

I could see something like Barnes/Boucher/Trent (expiring)/Achiuwa (expiring) + picks working, too.

Scoot/Simons/Barnes/Grant/Nurkic would also be pretty fun. Plus, a Sharpe/Trent/Thybulle/Boucher bench.

 

If they want to compete with Dame trading Barnes makes the most sense

Dame / Schroeder / OG / Pascal / Poetl

Not a bad lineup if Dame actually plays.

Even tho a potential OG package is better that a Heat package, OG is a free agent in 2 years and I wouldn't count on him staying in Portland.

None of these packages have sounded great for Portland. Herro isn't needed because they have Simons, Sharpe and Scoot. Toronto package sounds good for a year or two (maybe Dick ends up being a really good player) unless they can keep OG long term.

If they aren’t getting Barnes it’s just about how many young players and picks you can get back. They’re not two years away from a championship so anyone they take back they should be looking to flip anyway.

 

I’m more interested to see if Phoenix does manage to squeak into some deal. That’s either gonna be a robbery on their part or it’s going to blow up in their face.

Cause Ayton for Nurk does not make any sense. And I don’t know if they even have cap space to acquire someone like Gary Trent as well in a multi team deal.

 

They can pretty easily snag Trent and Nurkic if they want lol
