lil bit bummed i missed out on the hopesfall alt cover but happy with how easy it was to get all 3 days of unoriginal vinyl records. no cure killed it. excited for orthodox!!!

 

the Showbread merch line being the longest is my first surprise today

 

so i ended up securing a friday and sunday ticket. I'll be the dude with a toddler watching Norma Jean and Anberlin tonight, haha

 

the NJ merch guy told me they brought back the third guitarist for tonight and he heard they’re switching up the set.

 

I haven't seen Norma Jean since 2010 when they opened for ETID at Zydeco in Birmingham, so it's probably a totally different set than before - unless they The End of All Things Will Be Televised tonight.

 

they played that one last year. I love Redeemer so much. grand scene is one of my wish lists for today.

they’ve got Meridional on wax at the smartpunk tent and I’m having to talk myself out of it.

 

I have All Hail, and I just went by Seasick and dropped roughly $70 on TFOT's Doppelganger and Movement's NGLTG, so I'm probably out on vinyl the rest of the weekend... we'll see though.

And yeah, I have a soft spot for Redeemer. It was one of my first "preorders" where I ordered a CD/T shirt combo.

 

I’ve got All Hail as well. Just dropped $50 on the SoCo North repress this morning. And $40 on a NJ t shirt. I have little to no self control.

 

Oh shit, just realized they took the barrier down in the Shed.

 

On principle I can't bring myself to spend more than like, $25 on a shirt. Plus all I wear is Under Armour drifit shirts, so expensive t-shirts are lost on me.

Really happy I got to see my top 3 from Nihilism. Stab Art To Death was a lovely surprise.

Now it’s just vibing until Relient K, really.

I realized mid-set that I hadn’t seen them since 2007. Explains why my knees are already killing me today.

This Relient K/Norma Jean conflict is gonna be tough to gauge to make sure I still get into the Shed.

I’ve gotten more compliments on my Taylor Swift shirt than anything else today.

 

By the time Relient was done, it was impossible to get into the shed so I’m opting for Piebald and Braid tonight. I’ll make sure to get there early for my four hour stint in the shed tomorrow haha
