The house I grew up in was haunted. I was TERRIFIED of the basement in a "this is not normal little kid scared of basement" type of way. My Mom's way of punishing me was whenever I did something bad (like call 9-1-1 from a hockey rink so the police came) she'd lock me down there for like an hour.

Come to find out my grandma/aunt/uncles all used to do ouija boards and seances in that house and in that basement
