Yeah but if anyone tried to mimic my poor habits they’d very quickly realize they’d rather be a little chubby lol. I’m not healthy skinny. In shape, yes, within reason - out of necessity because I work two jobs on my feet and I still use a bike to get around town. Good diet, consistent eating and digestive patterns? NO. lol

 

I go in phases between not thinking about food and not eating and then wondering why tf my mood or my executive dysfunction is so bad (like today)

and thinking about food all the time and always craving trash that I shouldn’t eat more than once a week and eating way too big portions and then wondering why my bowel movements are horrible lol

Yeah Trevor hasn’t been efficient, but it’s because his YPA sucks so far and his completion percentage is very pedestrian.

Not fuckin EPA, the most galaxy brain stat. The only reason people trust EPA is because it sounds like complex math so they don’t want to question it. Complex math doesn’t always mean the problem is even formulated correctly or that all factors are appropriately weighed.

I wish people would understand this concept as it applies to actual research studies as well, not just sports… so many sham studies out there designed by Think Tanks to be intentionally misleading, that literally interpret numbers / use statistics wrong and pretend to be scientific fact

 

If it’s really “expected points added” then the stat literally doesn’t accomplish its goal if a QB who is making “big time throws” isn’t adding expected points to the game. Why wouldn’t expected points increase if you’re suddenly in the red zone because of an unusually effective throw by that player

“expected points added” =/= efficient

Quarterback rating is more accurate for that because it’s more simple. It weighs yards per attempt, completion percentage, and touchdown to interception ratio the most. How many yards do you average, how much do you avoid incompletions, and how often do you score vs how often do you put the other team in position to score. We don’t need anything more than that to measure the efficiency of a QB unless we’re looking at specific situations.
