Also, production can continue because A24 agreed to SAG’s terms and have already committed to agreeing to whatever terms are eventually signed once the studios come to an agreement. Good stuff.

 

It’s like I like to say:

If the brand fandom and overpriced merch properly funds independent films and gets eyes on some of those movies in the current landscape… who am I to complain? Would be nice if DiscussingFilm mentioned the dang filmmaker’s name in the main tweet, lol. But, until an actual troubling report comes out about the studio, I’ll view their work as a clear net positive.

 

It looks like the movie wasn't announced beforehand which may be why but Ari Aster is producing and looks like a first time director
