The clock is also changing. When I first went on the site it said 6:20:30, now it says 6:20:26. I think we are literally counting down the minutes here folks!

I never thought I'd say this again, but after hearing these clips? I'm greatly anticipating new Blink-182 again!

EDIT: Not that I didn't enjoy the Skiba-era stuff. But that was always more of a "cool, a band I like is putting out something new." This, I think, has a lot of potential to bowl me over and have at least some of the music be a lot more in my wheelhouse than any of Nine was.

That makes way more sense. I feel silly now looking at it again. Guess I just got over-excited?

I mean, this is really on par with Blink's brand of toilet humour (pun very much intended).

California has some songs that I really, really love. Rabbit Hole is such an underrated song. Same for Cynical. The Only Thing That Matters rules.

That said, I just pretend Nine doesn’t exist.

I'm in love with the ordinary

Man, I loved the Skiba era, a lot! Still hoping they have Matt guest on a song on the album.

    Clips sound great!

totally agree on some of the songs from California. Nine was a weird one. I felt like they over-Indexed on the production polish.

So maybe one day they will perform Anthem parts 1 2 and 3 one after the other. Fingers crossed!

I wish that Skiba era Blink had done only one amazing album with the best tracks from Nine and California. There’s an amazing album there but too much filler!

And that's why you always leave a note.

LOL. Nine has some great songs on it, I'll stand by it. The problem is there's a few too many not-great, filler songs. If they cut it down to ten, it probably would've been a much tighter record. "Pin the Grenade" and "Darkside" are bangers.

Now that would be awesome. I'm still holding out hope Blink will do an Eras tour. Bring Scott up for a couple really sloppy fast punk songs. Then get to the MTV-backstreet boy cosplaying + dick joke era. Then get real emo. Then get even more emo because Tom doesn't want to be there. Then split the stage in half and Mark plays a couple +44 songs and Tom plays a couple Box Car Racer songs simultaneously while Travis tries to run back and forth playing drums for both bands at the same time. (Picturing this like Scott Pilgrim). Then Tom ultimately gets "eliminated" for a few and Matt shows up for his era. And that brings us to the present.

I've had a lot of caffeine today.

sounds like anthem pt 2 and 3 have similar motifs. I am hopeful that this not the intro to the song but a part somewhere in the bridge or something. not to be nitpicky but it would bug me if pt 2 and 3 started this similarly, haha.

My biggest concern was the production and judging from these clips it sounds like the production will be good. RIP Jerry Finn

Damn I played through enema recently, it’s amazing how great that production/mix still sounds. Nothing in rock sounded quite so polished in comparison at the time of that release.
