I think she needs more house show experience rather than being in the PC. Her biggest issue is lack of match time. Having her spend time in NXT would probably be a waste imo

WWE absolutely seems like the right move for her but I would have liked to see Mercedes/Jade

Definitely the right move for Jade. AEW’s women’s scene is a mess and she isn’t anyone that would help fix that problem. AEW badly needs Mercedes Mone to add some fire to the division that is underutilized yet has also become rather stale.

 

It’s crazy how AEW has botched their women’s division. The lack of focus and Hayter getting hurt really messed things up. For my money Impact actually does women’s wrestling as well if not better than WWE. AEW could have really used people like Masha, Deanna or Jordynne instead of Ruby and Saraya. Trinity made a smart choice going to Impact instead of AEW lol

At the same time, WWE’s division isn’t much better. It has big stars like Bianca and Becky, but lacks direction and tons of nonsensical decisions. I mean Nia Jax is back.

 

Oh, I definitely agree. It has been and could be so much better than it is. Bringing Nia back makes no sense and there’s a lot of stupid nonsense booking. The booking of Bailey is as bad as any of AEW’s mistakes.

 

I wish she could have gone to Japan like she wanted to.

 

Elias is a free agent supposedly

 

damn. not many people have done everything asked and crushed it the way Elias did without getting their due eventually. feel like he could absolutely thrive in Impact.

 

Elias aka Sandow 2.0. Crushes, gets mega over, never utilized and let go.

 

That one video he did reminiscing about his first ever WWE show and how inspired him and Ezekiel were by it is peak wrestling.

That whole Elias/Ezekiel angle in general is one of the peak "wrestling is the only place this goofy idea could work"
