its silly to try and argue that the jets with zach wilson will win a super bowl, but this is still a very very good team and i dont think theyre going to completely flame out. id be a little surprised if come Dec. 1st they were completely irrelevant in the wildcard conversation.

This loophole reminds me of the “gather step” in the NBA, which in my opinion is a huge part of why playing defense in the game of basketball is getting so lame. Sure it’s TECHNICALLY legal… but should it be? Cause imo if a technicality defeats the purpose of the rule then they should try to eliminate it

OL should not be allowed to get the jump on a DL (considering they already have the advantage of knowing the snap count)… and basketball shooting guards should not be able to start a eurostep dunk motion way back at the 3 point line, where they hold the ball in a position where it can’t be stolen for 3 GIANT steps while a defender can’t even touch them or get in the way without fouling. I don’t really care if the letter of the law doesn’t technically say that’s illegal
