Man, I wish they would just shorten the damn season. I know it'll never happen because the owners (and players) would lose money, but it's just such an obvious answer to the rest and late-season game quality issues.

This guy sounds like the scum of the earth. Not sure how the nba handles these things typically but hopefully he’s out of the league for good if not in jail.

 

Who the fuck would trade for him after this? With any luck he should be out of the league for good.

 

If he’s in the league I’m not watching at all. I’m just a casual fan anyway so it won’t be hard.

 

The NBA really needs to be stricter on stuff like this. Miles Bridges could have been an example and now the problems gonna keep happening.

 

Porter is going to be out of the league, the league investigation has to conclude first

 

I like how Houston gave themselves an out with Porter by making most of his contract non-guaranteed, and yet they're not brave enough to exercise that freedom. The NBA really messed up by letting Bridges back in, and now this is the result. It really shouldn't be that hard to take a stand against actions this horrific.

They can't punish him until the NBA does their investigation.

People always want immediate action without remembering that there are always legal reasons behind things.
