This Teezo Touchdown debut album is pretty wild. He does not confine himself to a single genre at all. It feels like a breakthrough.

The new tobi lou is also out of this world. His stuff recently has been straight fire.

    Caturday samples Jack's Mannequin lol

The first track sounds like a Weezer song.

I’m assuming everyone slept on Nick F. Very concept heavy but I’ve been loving it

I played it when I took my dog for a walk and the concept skit shit just took me out of it totally. I didn’t finish

It’s definitely very winded with skits sadly

    This.

I was really disappointed too because I was hyped for it and just couldn't make it through.

Thought about trying to cut together just the music but it seemed like too much trouble. But if people are recommending it, maybe I'll give it another shot.

Mostly no vocal tracks. It’s funny how the guy so many didn’t consider a real rapper seems to have the basic skill so many rappers that camd after seem to lack lol

it's really dope, and I feel like this only hints at this guy's potential. the sound reminds me of Jean Dawson with a little cheese thrown in there. But I feel like that cheese is self-aware and sort of appeals in a similar way to older pop-punk.

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

added the leaks but removed some of the album tracks for them I guess? this whole rollout is so weird lol

This run Nas has been on is crazy. Halfway through Magic 3 and it's great so far

  24. I hate to say it because of the Kelis stuff, but I did come to the conclusion yesterday that he's likely the best to ever do it. Even when his projects aren't great, he just raps circles around people, but not in a meaningless Eminem kind of way.

Idk about that personally. He’s definitely one of the most consistent rappers of all time, but there are others that are similarly consistently great (in terms of rapping) to me, like Ghostface or Common. I do think Illmatic is the greatest rap album of all time.
