I mean...this was how Blink originally re-united in 2009.

 

I know I’m being a hatin ass hater, but part of me hates how this video frames it as Justin bestowed this great honor to his bandmates to bring them together - when he’s the one that broke them up and didn’t really tell any of them. Still excited for the song though.

 

But that's been the talk since the other 4 appeared in public together.

ultimately, a reunion that’s taking place at a low point in JTs career for a movie that probably is struggling to meet projections just screams corporate decision and disingenuous, but hope the song turns out ok. People are feverish on tik tok about it though. Pretty sure they’d be able to do Arena-football stadium level sellouts

I think they’re trying to make this a Can’t Stop The Feeling type hit… who knows whether or not that actually happens, but I think they’re aiming for at least having decent chart success.

 

I think it's also probably a strike loophole what they can do without promoing the actual movie

 

It's definitely strike-adjacent to specifically promote a song, or the reunion itself, but not talk about the movie

I watched it. It was good, but honestly seems like the other guys are way more tight / well-adjusted.

Felt a bit weird when JT called one of ‘em a p****, but overall it was cool. I love Joey from all the stuff he did with impractical jokers lol, so it was fun to watch them laugh and interact

 

Yeah, it felt like old friends getting back together. Justin’s awkward and just kind of there. Lance and Joey were really funny. JC was super quiet. Honestly wished it was a longer video. And it’s weird that we haven’t heard them sing together at all yet. We need those sweet harmonies.

 

JC handled the wings surprisingly well.

 

I read that Lance did an interview recently where he confirmed that the original plan was for them to debut Better Place with a TV performance, but the actors’ strike put a hold on that since it’s a song from a movie so would technically be promotion for the movie.
