Man after finding out my dad had stage iv brain cancer in April I wanted to take him to one last browns game, as Cleveland sports and specifically the browns has been a big part of our relationship growing up. Now we’re two weeks away and I’m not even sure it’s a good idea and if he will really be able to even walk to the stadium or up to our seats. It fucking sucks man.

Im very sorry to hear about your father and what you and your family are going through. It’s got to be a really tough choice but if he can’t physically go to the game, just being able to watch the game at home is something special to remember.

I was in my freshman English class when I heard about 9/11. I remember another teacher coming in and whispered to our teacher that “they bombed the twin towers”.

I of course was confused because there’s an apartment building nearby called the Twin Towers, and it didn’t seem like the right place for terrorists to attack.

Also my parents refused to pick me up early from school even though it seemed like everyone else got to leave early.

dude, that sucks. My dad has progressed MS, and he’s at the point where he doesn’t always remember who we are when we visit him and can’t hold a conversation. Also, he can’t walk. Aging sucks, and disease sucks.

My school caught fire that day (Bush didn't do this one) and when my dad picked me up he was like "did you hear what happened" and I was like "yeah there was a fire" and he was like "well...KIND OF"

nah this aint browns talk im so sorry to hear this. if you still want to and think he would be up for it, it may be worth giving the stadium a call to see if they can hook up accessible seats? Hopefully whatever the case you guys can enjoy the game.

 

Schwartz is a blow-hard sometimes but he's right on this. Having a good product on the field (quite literally in this scenario) will bring you in more $$$
