It’s a perfect day for letting go... Supporter

Yeah I’d think it would be basically running it back but like with a co headliner who could put it in sheds

I don’t think RTJ is packing sheds or helping pack sheds tbh

Is "packing sheds" some weird new slang kids are using nowadays?

    Sheds = amphitheaters

There is no doubt in my mind, Turnstile could headliner a tour and draw between 5k-8k a show depending on the cities.

    Things have changed.

That's a long way from doing sheds.

They already drew 5k last time they were in Chicago or close to it.

Turnstile can probably draw more in sheds than some of the other tours that are booked each summer

Idk, Turnstile has a big draw right now and RTJ is still doing good. I could see Turnstile/RTJ as being one of those summer co-headliners that has two bands that typically don’t do amphitheaters.

Examples: Noel Gallagher and Garbage this summer, Mastodon and Coheed a few years back… there’s a few in drawing a blank on, but it’s a thing

They’d be better off selling out 5-7K venues than half filling sheds. That’s why the Yellowcard tour looks great compared to the AAR tour. Half filling a 15-20K venue looks bad compared to selling out a 5-7K venue.

    It's chaos. Be kind. Prestigious

I think the big thing with Turnstile moving into amphitheaters is that so much of the appeal of their show is a big GA pit and movement. I feel like some of the magic is going to get lost if they make that move.

Jimmy Chamberlin said on The Drum Room that a Siamese Dream anniversary tour may happen this winter

Exactly, plus idk if their fans will want to attend a seated Turnstile show.

Listen, I tried to look it up and the only result I got was urbandictionary which is an immediate red flag to me. Say no to slang. Pox on our society. Down with fake language.

Isn't Billy Corgan pretty much on record saying he hates anniversary tours? I mean I'd love to be wrong, but I'm pretty sure he's said as much. If it were up to him entirely I'm sure Today and Disarm would just be retired from the set.

Yeah he’s said that before, but I think his mind has changed. A Mellon Collie tour was confirmed in the works but was scrapped because of the pandemic

The NWA has been operating at a loss every year since he relaunched the promotion. He def needs the money if he plans on continuing to piss his money away.

NWA has been a joke in the past year or so. He better not put too much stake there.
